What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxESCPBerlin, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxESCPBerlin event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
What is TEDxESCPBerlin?
Established in 1819, ESCP is the world’s first business school and has educated generations of leaders and forefront thinkers. With its six urban campuses in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Torino and Warsaw, ESCP has a true European identity which enables the provision of a unique style of business education.
In 2019, students from various programs of ESCP have decided to host an independently organized TEDx event under the name: TEDxESCPBerlin. The event will take place fully virtually and is avaialable for all students, employees and alumni of ESCP, thus connecting the whole network of the university.
About Our Theme
In a world where digital is woven into every aspect of our lives, change is constant and the pace of innovation continues unabated, our values, ethics, structure and purposes will be highly challenged. Therefore, we need to ask: What possibilities, opportunities and threats will come with tomorrow’s technological advancements? It is time to rethink our current paradigm.
With our theme, we want to include speakers that have and continue to question the status quo in order to achieve their goal and who are fostering a change in our society. They would help shedding some light on multidisciplinary areas, aiming at providing attendees with the framework needed to understand the big picture.

The event is open for all! So even if you are not from ESCP, you are free to join.
